Early in the morning, three friends (Robby, Pip and Rob) showed up from the night bus. We sat around the hostel for a bit, trying to figure out what to do for the day.
Eventually, we settled on heading to the zoo. It was a nice place, with tons of South American animals. Afterwards, we decided to head to Chipichape, an enormous shopping center. The locals call it ‘Silicone Valley’, for what immediately became obvious reasons. We had ourselves some grub, then decided to head back and get ready for the night.
Rob had been to Cali before and had a friend here named Lisa. She came over and brought us all out to a local club called Ranchekuate where we met a large group of her friends. We got ourselves a giant booth and shared a few bottles of aguardiente. After a few hours of Ranchera music, dancing and drinking, we were all pretty well beat.
