I always liked the symmetry of Church - Right and Pagan - Left.
American politics right there in the Shea outfield.

Ridiculous... but as long as they can all play ball well... cool.

Granted, the current mets roster is ready to have: Carlos, Carlos, Reyes, Reyes, Martinez, Martinez

To go along with that bunch: The Church and The Wright... which, politically, are about the same thing. And while we're politcal... lets throw Castro into the mix.

SS Reyes
2B Reyes
3B Wright
1B Carlos
CF Carlos
RF Church
C Castro
LF Martinez
P Martinez

A very possible 2009 lineup (hell, a very possible late 2008 lineup).
